Konkoma SDA Hospital

Every engagement starts with a real challenge. Here is what happened when we got to work.

Building a Digital Fundraising Platform for a Hospital's Next Chapter

Project Overview

Konkoma SDA Hospital is a faith-led healthcare project in Ghana’s Ashanti Region, serving Konkoma and surrounding rural communities.

The project grew out of a community clinic established in 1987. Today, the organization is working to develop a new hospital capable of providing expanded maternal, pediatric, emergency, laboratory, and other essential healthcare services to a community of more than 20,000 people across Konkoma and surrounding villages.

Our role was to help the organization communicate that vision to a wider audience and create the digital foundation for its fundraising campaign.

The project brought together fundraising storytelling, professional video production, website design and development, and professional email infrastructure into one connected digital presence.

Evidence before opinion.

Every strategy we build is grounded in real research and honest analysis.

Strategy, creative, and marketing as one.

We do not separate thinking from making from reaching. That connection is what makes the work hold together.

Honest about fit.

If we are not the right partner, we say so. If we are, we commit fully.

Partnership over transaction.

We work with clients, not only for them.

Present after delivery.

The real work of building a business happens long after the first engagement ends. We stay.

Honest about fit.

If we are not the right partner, we say so. If we are, we commit fully.

The Challenge

Communicating a Need Beyond the Community

Konkoma SDA Hospital’s story is deeply connected to the community it serves.

The existing clinic has served Konkoma and surrounding communities for decades, but the current facility has significant limitations. According to the hospital, one building has been serving more than 20,000 people, while the facility faces challenges including limited maternity capacity, inadequate equipment, and lack of access to emergency care.

At the same time, a new hospital was already being developed.

The organization therefore had an important story to tell:

There was a legacy worth preserving, a very real healthcare need to address, and a new vision worth supporting.

But telling that story effectively to someone who had never visited Konkoma required more than a few paragraphs of information.

The campaign needed to make people understand:

  • Where the hospital came from
  • Who it serves
  • What challenges the community faces
  • Why a new hospital is necessary
  • What the new facility could provide
  • And how someone could contribute to making it possible

That became the communication challenge we set out to solve.

What We Did

01. We Built the Fundraising Story

Before creating the digital assets, we had to understand the story we were telling.

We researched the hospital’s history, tracing its roots back to the community’s early efforts to establish healthcare services in 1987. The story also connects to the earlier history of Madam Achiaa, whose home became a place of worship in 1963 and whose legacy is now connected to the hospital project.

From this research, we developed the foundation for the fundraising narrative.

The story needed to move naturally from:

Legacy → Need → Vision → Action

The purpose was not simply to present facts.

It was to help a potential supporter understand why this hospital matters, what is at stake, and what their support could help make possible.

02. We Produced the Fundraising Video

Giving the story a voice

One of the major deliverables was a 5–10 minute fundraising promotional film.

The objective was to create a piece that could communicate the hospital’s story more powerfully than static information alone.

Concept & Scriptwriting

We developed the concept and script around the fundraising objective.

The script brought together the hospital’s history, the realities facing the community, the need for expanded healthcare infrastructure, and the vision for the new hospital.

The result was a narrative designed to move the viewer through the story rather than simply present a list of facts.

Professional Voice-over

We provided a professional voice artist and produced the narration for the film.

The voice-over became the narrative thread connecting the different parts of the story, with attention given to tone, pacing, and clarity.

Production & Post-production

We then brought the story together through professional video editing and post-production.

This included:

  • Editing and assembly
  • Integration of client-provided footage and assets
  • Colour grading and visual enhancement
  • Custom motion graphics
  • Sound design
  • Audio mixing
  • Final rendering and delivery

The result was a fundraising film designed to introduce the project, communicate its importance, and encourage people to consider supporting it.

03. We Designed and Built the Fundraising Website

Giving the campaign a digital home

The video could introduce the story.

The website needed to give people somewhere to go next.

We designed and developed a dedicated fundraising website for Konkoma SDA Hospital, built around the information a potential supporter would need to understand the project and take action.

Rather than approaching the website as a conventional hospital website, we structured it around the fundraising journey.

The site’s core narrative moves from the hospital’s legacy and the current crisis to the vision for the new facility and the opportunity to support it.

Content & Information Architecture

The website was structured to make the campaign easy to understand.

Key areas included:

  • Hospital history
  • Campaign overview
  • The current healthcare challenges
  • Vision for the new hospital
  • Project updates
  • Photo and video content
  • Donation information
  • Contact information

The navigation also provides clear routes to areas such as About Us, Sponsor, Updates, Contact Us, and Donate, giving visitors multiple ways to engage with the campaign.

Design & Development

We developed the site to work across desktop and mobile devices and included a content management system so the organization could maintain and update the website as the project progressed.

We also incorporated basic SEO considerations and the necessary content and contact infrastructure for ongoing communication.

The result is not simply a website that describes the hospital.

It serves as the digital home of the fundraising campaign.

04. We Established Professional Email Infrastructure

A credible digital presence extends beyond the website.

As part of the project, we helped establish professional, domain-based email for the organization.

This gave the hospital a more consistent communication identity across its digital touchpoints and provided a professional channel for communicating with donors, partners, volunteers, and other stakeholders.

It was a smaller component of the project, but an important part of creating a complete digital foundation.

05. We Managed the Project From Concept to Delivery

Because the project combined creative production and technology, coordination was an important part of the work.

We managed the project across:

  • Research
  • Concept development
  • Scriptwriting
  • Voice-over production
  • Video production
  • Website design
  • Website development
  • Content integration
  • Client feedback
  • Revisions
  • Timeline management
  • Final delivery

This meant the different pieces of the project could work together as one campaign rather than becoming disconnected deliverables.

The Result

One Story, Multiple Digital Touchpoints

The final outcome was a connected fundraising presence for Konkoma SDA Hospital.

The organization now has:

A fundraising film that introduces and communicates the story.

A dedicated campaign website that gives visitors a place to explore the project in greater depth.

Donation and contact pathways that make it easier for interested supporters to take the next step.

Project update functionality that gives the campaign room to continue communicating as the hospital develops.

Professional email infrastructure that supports communication with donors and stakeholders.

More importantly, these pieces were designed to work together.

Someone can encounter the hospital through the video, visit the website to learn more, explore the need and vision, and then find a clear path to support the project.

That was the real objective of the project:

to turn the hospital’s story into a digital fundraising experience capable of reaching people beyond the community itself.

The Work in Numbers

1 Fundraising campaign website
1 Professional fundraising film
5–10 min Video production
1 Professional email infrastructure setup
1 Connected digital fundraising experience

Our Takeaway

Good digital work is not always about creating more.

Sometimes it is about taking a meaningful story and making sure people can actually understand it.

For Konkoma SDA Hospital, the story already existed. There was a history, a community, a real healthcare need, and a vision for the future.

Our job was to help give that story structure, voice, and a digital home.

The result was a fundraising platform that brings those elements together and gives the organization a stronger way to communicate its mission, engage potential supporters, and invite people to become part of the hospital’s next chapter.
