Every engagement starts with a real challenge. Here is what happened when we got to work.
The Center for Adventist Leadership Development for Africa (CALDA) is a pan-African, faith-based institution focused on developing Christ-centered leaders for the Seventh-day Adventist Church across Africa.
Headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, CALDA serves leaders across the East-Central Africa Division, West-Central Africa Division, and Southern Africa-Indian Ocean Division. Its work spans leadership development, discipleship, mentorship, pastoral leadership, church governance, institutional administration, and leadership training.
CALDA needed more than a website.
As an organization with a continent-wide ambition, it needed a brand and digital presence that could communicate who it is, what it stands for, the people it serves, and the programs it offers with clarity and professionalism.
We worked across brand identity, website development, professional email infrastructure, and social media to build a cohesive digital foundation for the organization.
Every strategy we build is grounded in real research and honest analysis.
We do not separate thinking from making from reaching. That connection is what makes the work hold together.
If we are not the right partner, we say so. If we are, we commit fully.
We work with clients, not only for them.
The real work of building a business happens long after the first engagement ends. We stay.
If we are not the right partner, we say so. If we are, we commit fully.
CALDA was being positioned to serve a broad and diverse audience of Adventist leaders across Africa.
That creates a particular communication challenge.
The organization needed to feel:
The brand therefore needed to establish credibility from the beginning.
The website had to do the same.
It needed to explain CALDA’s purpose quickly, help visitors understand its programs, communicate its values, highlight opportunities to participate, and provide a foundation for future content and engagement.
The broader challenge was to make several digital touchpoints feel like one organization.
We started by establishing CALDA’s visual identity.
The objective was to create a brand system that could work across institutional communication, digital platforms, social media, events, documents, and future program materials.
The identity work included:
The brand guidelines established the foundation for consistent use of the identity across CALDA’s communications.
This was important because CALDA’s work would extend across multiple countries, programs, events, and communication channels.
The identity therefore needed to be flexible enough to grow with the organization while remaining recognizably CALDA.
The website became the central hub for CALDA’s public presence.
Rather than creating a simple informational website, we structured the platform around the different ways people might interact with the organization.
A visitor needs to be able to quickly understand:
What is CALDA?
Why does CALDA exist?
Who does it serve?
What programs are available?
What events are coming up?
How can I get involved?
The current website reflects that structure through sections for the organization’s story, programs, events, insights, partnerships, and opportunities to get involved.
The homepage immediately establishes CALDA’s central proposition:
Raising Christ-Centered Leaders to Transform Africa.
It then explains CALDA’s role in developing pastors, administrators, and emerging leaders through skills development, mentorship, and spiritual formation.
That positioning gives visitors an immediate understanding of both the organization’s purpose and audience.
The website also needed to make CALDA’s growing range of offerings understandable.
We structured the experience around programs including the Emerging Leaders Certificate, mentorship networks, Leadership & Administration Certificate, and customized workshops and training.
This allows CALDA to present its work not as a collection of disconnected activities, but as a structured leadership development ecosystem.
The website was also designed to support CALDA beyond its initial launch.
We incorporated:
This gives the organization the ability to continue publishing, promoting programs, communicating events, and engaging its audience without rebuilding the website every time something changes.
A professional organization needs professional communication infrastructure.
We configured CALDA’s domain-based email system for up to 15 users, including the initial subscription setup for two users.
The implementation also included:
This created consistency between CALDA’s public-facing brand and its direct communication with leaders, institutions, partners, and other stakeholders.
The website was CALDA’s central digital hub, but the organization also needed channels through which it could continually reach its audience.
We established CALDA’s presence across:
We then developed 25 branded Canva templates to create a reusable visual system for ongoing content.
This meant CALDA would not need to reinvent its visual language every time it published a program announcement, leadership insight, event, or organizational update.
Following the initial setup, we managed CALDA’s social media presence for three months.
This included:
The goal was to establish consistency while helping the organization begin building its audience and communication rhythm.
The result was more than four individual deliverables.
We created a connected system in which each component supports the others.
CALDA received a defined visual identity that could be consistently applied across its communication materials and digital platforms.
The website became the central destination for understanding CALDA, exploring its programs, discovering events, reading leadership content, and finding ways to get involved.
The organization gained professional domain-based email infrastructure with branded signatures and security measures.
CALDA established its presence across key social platforms with a consistent visual system and an initial content and engagement strategy.
Together, these elements created a stronger foundation for CALDA to communicate its mission and grow its presence across the continent.

3 months Social media management
10–12 Posts per month during management
A strong digital presence for an institution like CALDA cannot begin with a website alone.
The website needs a brand to give it identity.
The brand needs consistent communication to become recognizable.
The communication needs the right infrastructure to operate professionally.
And all of it needs to work together.
That was the thinking behind this project.
We helped CALDA establish the brand, website, communication infrastructure, and social media foundation needed to present itself as a serious pan-African leadership institution.
The result is a digital ecosystem built not just to launch CALDA, but to give the organization a foundation from which it can continue to grow.
